Lessons from a Remodel: The Value of Resilience in Fixer-Upper Investments
One of the many things I learned during this last remodel was that what started as a "simple" HVAC service and cleaning turned into a full vent cleaning throughout the house.
Investing in a fixer-upper can be lucrative, but you have to approach it with resilience and understand the value it adds for resale purposes, even if you plan to live in the home for a while.
My motto in real estate has always been to start with the end in mind, much like an exit strategy for any business or investment.
